Creative kids will love this immersive group art environment that explores the relationships between light, shade, voice, sound and movement. The workshop uses shadow play, projected body mapping and dramatic role play.

Participants will create their own jungle-themed mixed media illustration that will help form the background slideshow in preparation for interactive shadow play to music.
Each participant will also construct and decorate a sound rainmaker to engage in a tribal rain dance.
Using a projected synchronised musical art installation to explore light, shade, voice, sound and movement.
Incorporating the process of ‘becoming’ through shadow play, projected body mapping and dramatic role play.
Engagement in a spontaneous, immersive group art environment.

Enhances sensory and spatial awareness of self and others.
Engages fine motor skills and gross motor coordination.
Fosters emotional and physical expression through visual, voice, sound and movement.
Strengthens self-discovery and group cohesion.

Self-Identity T-Shirt Designs

Calling all T-Shirt designers! Participants will create and paint their own self-identity branded logo design onto a T-Shirt. White T-shirts will be provided, or you can bring your own. This group workshop will explore the creative design process from idea generation and thumb nail sketches to painting the finished design using fabric paint.

This workshop explores the creative design process involved in creating a self-identity brand from idea generation and thumbnail sketches, to painting the finished design onto a T-shirt.
Each participant will creatively explore individual themes and ideas that will visually symbolise their strengths, values, likes etc.
The symbolic elements will be further refined to form the final logo design, ready for transfer and painting onto fabric.
Lastly, participants will be invited to showcase their finished design to the group, closing with a group reflection and feedback session.

Fosters symbolic visual and verbal expression of each participant’s self-identity.
Builds self-confidence, self-esteem and self-empowerment.
Encourages exploration of working with fluid and unpredictable materials.
Strengthens fine motor skills.

Learning Skills Together

All of our programs are delivered in a group setting and last a full day. We find this, along with having changing themes, helps the children have a better grasp of the activities on offer, feel more comfortable in a group setting and gain far more benefits that range from developing their confidence to fostering team work and shared creative expression.
