About Jarran

Jarran's deep-rooted connection with music in all its diverse forms has profoundly influenced his professional beliefs. Embracing the discipline of music therapy was a natural choice, enabling him to channel his heartfelt passion into a purposeful pursuit that uplifts and supports the most vulnerable individuals in our community.

With an educational journey that took him from Sydney to the UK, Jarran returned to Australia with a Master’s in Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne.

Advocate for Therapy Innovations

At Hessel Group, he is a proponent for innovative care, preparing to integrate AI and vibroacoustic therapy into his practice. His planned PhD with Hessel will explore these technologies to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Jarran is focused on bridging a bridge between traditional music therapy and groundbreaking technology. His work with AI and haptic feedback aims to make music therapy more accessible and tailored to individual needs.

Life Beyond Work

Jarran's commitment to personal growth and overcoming obstacles is reflected in his love for climbing, finding parallels between the challenges faced on the rock and those we encounter in life.

"As a transhumanist, I perceive our world as an intricate fusion of humanity and technology. This philosophy drives my endeavour to advance music therapy with innovative tools that resonate with our modern existence. Simultaneously, I hold a deep reverence for nature, which anchors my work and provides a necessary balance. I strive to enhance the human experience by merging the precision of tech with the organic rhythm of life."
