Are you aged 18-65 and looking for genuine connections that go beyond your usual support network? Connected is a structured Speed Friending mixer designed for adults who want to meet people in a safe, sensory-friendly environment. Held at our Welland Clinic, this program is led by our friendly clinicians to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported.
We focus on meaningful connections. By using a pre-event survey, we understand your interests. From music to hobbies to likes & dislikes - and help pair you with potential friends on the day.
Our goal is simple: to help you build the confidence and social skills to maintain friendships independently. With fun ice-breaker games and creative activities, we take the awkwardness out of meeting new people, setting the stage for friendships that flourish.

What to Expect at Speed Friending
Smart Matchmaking
We use a detailed profile questionnaire to group you with people who share your specific interests and age group.
Fun Ice-Breakers
Engage in low-pressure activities like our "Lock and Key" mixers and Bingo games (with prizes), designed to get the conversation flowing.
Creative Connection
Participate in guided art activities where you paint or draw your favourite foods or hobbies as a way to spark discussion.
Therapeutic Support
Our clinicians facilitate the session to support your social goals, helping you build the capacity to maintain connections outside the program.
Relaxed Environment
Enjoy a sensory-friendly experience at our Welland office with food and beverages included.
Monthly Group Outings – Tuesday Evenings
Once a month, we head out into Adelaide for a social evening! Outings are designed to be fun, accessible, and engaging, with activities such as:

- Stargazing & Planetarium Visits
- Food Truck & Market Visits
