About Katherine
Katherine is a provisional psychologist and a registered teacher, graduating from the University of New England with a Master in Professional Psychology.
Katherine has experience working with individuals with specific learning needs including autism, dyslexia and working memory issues.
Advocate for Greater Empathy
Katherine uses a compassionate and empathetic approach to build rapport and develop the therapeutic alliance. Her strengths are empowering individuals as lifelong learners, working collaboratively with them to achieve their goals.
Katherine integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based Techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Positive Psychology.
Beyond Work
Katherine looks forward to working with individuals seeking to enhance their psychological wellbeing and quality of life.
Outside of work, Katherine enjoys knitting, watching trash TV and studying psychology related topics, having a keen interest in autism. She also supports her community and has been a crisis supporter with Lifeline.
