Upon completion of the Diploma, you will be able to work as a Centre Director or Child Care Care Centre Manager and lead other educators.
The Diploma will teach you how to plan and implement education curriculums and manage volunteers and other educators. It will set you on the path to a long term career in early childhood education and care.

To be eligible, you must already have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or CHC30113).

You’ll further develop your skills and gain new ones in:
- Planning and implementing children’s education and care curriculum
- Nurturing creativity in children
- Facilitating compliance in a children’s education and care service

Confidence to educate
As part of completing the Diploma, you will be required to undertake a further 280 hours of placement. Gain the extra confidence you need with hands-on experience that you can complete while you study.
We understand that after completion of your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care you may already be working in the childcare industry. If this is the case, the experience you’ve gained there may count towards your placement hours.
