Or Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) CHC33015
Or Certificate III in Disability CHC30408 PLUS Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set CHCSS00125

As a Certificate IV in Disability Support student, you will advance your understanding of individual support to include people with complex needs, and will be equipped to advance into supervisory/coordination roles.
You will be doing much more than assisting people living with a disability - you will be championing their independence, enhancing their quality of life and ensuring they remain active and engaged.
Person-centred learning approach
This course equips you in providing personalised care that empowers and supports the independence and wellbeing of people living with a disability. It focuses on a person-centred approach to support and care.
You’ll develop skills in:
- Providing person-centred services to people with complex needs and chronic diseases.
- Facilitating community participation and social inclusion.
- Working with people with mental health issues.
- Legal and ethical compliance requirements for workers and services.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Whilst a Certificate III in Individual Support is an entry requirement and can't be use for RPL, you may have completed additional courses or gained broader on-job skills and knowledge. Get in touch with us to find out more.

In much the same way that we teach you to understand the varied needs of your clients, we too understand the varying needs of our students when it comes to learning.
We are one of the few organisations that offer mostly online training with some face-to-face practicals. With us, you can complete the course in your own time, and at your own pace.
This course also includes 120 hours of placement so you will be able to apply the knowledge learned online into your placement. This will help you not only develop your skills in the disability support sector but also gain the confidence to care and support people living with a disability once your course is complete.
We’ve also created an affordable approach to learning, making it even easier to study. Commonwealth Concession Card Holder concessions apply, meaning you can start this course for as little as $375.
There is the option to pay for the course upfront or go on a 6 month payment plan.
