Begin your career in disability support
Do you have a caring nature and enjoy helping others? Do you see yourself as a Disability Service Officer, Personal Support Worker or NDIS Disability Support Worker, where each day means supporting others?
A career in care is truly rewarding as it gives you the opportunity to make a lasting positive impact. A career in aged care helps make the lives of older Australians more fulfilling, helps them stay connected, engaged and feel valued every day.
Make a lasting positive impact on the people you care for. A career working with people living with a disability is an important role within the community. Not only is it one that is truly rewarding, but it helps individuals to stay connected, live a more fulfilled and active life and feel engaged and valued every day.
Make a real difference in the lives of people living with a disability through the work you do every day. Support individuals to maintain their independence, become more self-reliant and participate within the community.
The Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) gives you the chance to not only start your career in disability support but also teach you how to provide one-on-one support to people living with a disability.

Online, without the expense
Full-time classroom-based courses aren’t for everyone. They take up a lot of time, and generally money too.
We’ve created an affordable and convenient approach to learning. Our course is one of the few that is mostly online with only face-to-face practicals. This means you can complete the course in your own time, and at your own pace.
This course also includes 120 hours of placement so you will learn on the job before you truly start your career supporting people living with a disability.
We’re making it even easier for you to get started with your study. Government contributions and Commonwealth Concession Card Holder concessions apply. We also have a current discount from Enhance Training on this course with the cost for the course now less than $450.
Study should be accessible to everyone. Even with government contributions and discounts, it can be pricey to study, especially if you’re expected to pay upfront. This is why we have developed a range of payment options that suit everyone’s bank balance.
- Upfront payment
- 10 month payment plan
- Fortnightly payment plan

Confidence to handle any situation
Feel empowered to take on any situation you may encounter with your clients. Know that you will be prepared before your placement to handle care scenarios with confidence.
We do this in two ways. As well as our online study, our on-site Skills Lab gives you the opportunity to use equipment you may need in your role as caring for people with a disability. You can also then work through how to master situations you may face, in real community or residential settings.
Master even more skills with your placement. Gain hands-on experience in the disability care sector as part of the course.
