Upgrade Your
Early Childhood Qualification
Don't let an outdated qualification hold you back. Now is the perfect time to take the next step and see if you're eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
If you hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care that needs upgrading, we can help you get the latest qualification. This will open up your study path to a Diploma and career advancement opportunities.
Our step-by-step RPL process is a great stepping stone to achieve the current Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care - CHC30121, which is the entry requirement to enrol into the Diploma course.
Who's Eligible?
- Childhood Educators who hold an older Certificate III (or Certificate in Children's Services - CHC30712) qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and graduated prior to 2015.
- Childhood Educators who want to enrol in the current Diploma of Early Child Education and Care (CHC50121) but are in eligible due to outdated qualifications.

Why Upgrade?
You Have Old Qualifications
Older qualifications no longer meet current requirements for Diploma enrolment.
More Diploma-Qualified Staff Needed
Childcare centres need Diploma-qualified staff to meet ratio requirements.
Earn a Full Certificate
Students may earn a full certificate or a reduced study load if not fully achieved through RPL.
Learn New Skills
Learn new skills in designing and implementing a curriculum that meets the requirements and also maintains compliance.
Validate Your Existing Skills
Formalising your experience with a Diploma not only validates your skills but also boosts your confidence in your abilities as an educator.
Further Your Career
Further your career in early childhood education and take on more of a leadership role.
