Creative kids will love this immersive group art environment that explores the relationships between light, shade, voice, sound and movement. The workshop uses shadow play, projected body mapping and dramatic role play.
- Participants will create their own jungle-themed mixed media illustration that will help form the background slideshow in preparation for interactive shadow play to music.
- Each participant will also construct and decorate a sound rainmaker to engage in a tribal rain dance.
- Using a projected synchronised musical art installation to explore light, shade, voice, sound and movement.
- Incorporating the process of ‘becoming’ through shadow play, projected body mapping and dramatic role play.
- Engagement in a spontaneous, immersive group art environment.
- Enhances sensory and spatial awareness of self and others.
- Engages fine motor skills and gross motor coordination.
