About Anthea

Anthea's dedication to understanding human communication and socialisation inspired her to pursue a career in Speech Pathology. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Linguistics and English Language Linguistics from the University of Toronto, followed by a Master of Speech Pathology from Flinders University.

Anthea has gained valuable experience in diverse settings, ranging from working with children and young people with learning and participation needs to assisting individuals with swallowing and language challenges stemming from injury and other medical complications.

She has also been actively involved in the Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program (ICAP), targeting various modalities in intervention and rehabilitation.

Advocate for Helping People

Anthea views her role as a Speech Pathologist not just as a job, but as her true vocation and the fulfilment of her deepest aspirations. Her enthusiasm for communication and her genuine desire to help people align perfectly with the demands and rewards of her profession.

She celebrates the opportunities to engage in speech and language enhancement efforts, collaborating with families and support workers to devise and implement comprehensive interventions and developmental strategies.

Beyond Work

Outside the office, Anthea immerses herself in the thrill of water sports, including scuba diving, surfing, and kite surfing. She also has the zest for exploring different cuisines, always eager to taste the flavours and cultures.
